With a bold vision to redefine hair loss support and scalp wellness in Thurston County and beyond, Yukiko founded OlyHair to create a compassionate, science-informed space where clients feel seen, supported, and hopeful again. Her journey into trichology began in 2020 after experiencing her own peri-menopause and age-related hair thinning in her 30s—an experience that sparked a deep passion for understanding the root causes of hair loss and helping others restore not only their hair, but their confidence. Most recently completing the full coursework to become a Certified Clinical Trichologist, Yukiko combines advanced education with a deeply personal understanding of the emotional impact hair loss can have. Her approach focuses on uncovering underlying contributors to thinning hair and scalp concerns while creating realistic, individualized treatment plans designed to support healthier, stronger hair growth. Known for her bold leadership and heart-centered approach, Yukiko has spent over a decade building businesses centered on education, authenticity, and empowerment. Through OlyHair, she is committed to changing the conversation around hair loss—bringing awareness, compassion, and innovative care to those who often feel overlooked or dismissed. Outside of the clinic, Yukiko enjoys watercolor painting, embroidery, crocheting, and spending time with her grandkids. She finds peace in beach walks with her husband and their pup Luna, and draws inspiration from both nature and creativity in every aspect of her work. |
Alyssa
Alyssa is the welcoming heart of OlyHair, serving as both our Salon Manager and Hair Loss Specialist. Known for her warmth, compassion, and calming presence, she has a natural ability to help clients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
With specialized training in hair loss consultations and treatment planning, Alyssa works closely with clients experiencing thinning, shedding, and scalp concerns to help guide them toward personalized solutions and healthier hair growth. She understands that hair loss can be deeply emotional, and approaches every consultation with empathy, encouragement, and genuine care.
Alyssa’s love for connection and people shines through in every interaction. Whether she’s supporting clients through their hair restoration journey, helping coordinate the day-to-day experience at OlyHair, or simply offering a listening ear, she brings positivity and intention to everything she does.
A free spirit with a curious heart, Alyssa has lived in four states before planting roots in Washington, gathering stories, friendships, and inspiration along the way. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, listening to vinyl records, baking sweet treats, and finding joy in life’s little adventures.

Originally from the Four Corners area, Steph fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and decided to make Olympia her home, ultimately joining our team in January. She’s drawn to the area’s sense of community, creativity, and access to the outdoors, and enjoys being part of a place that values connection and care.
Outside of work, Steph can usually be found bouncing between a volleyball court, a concert, a thrift shop aisle, or a quiet nature trail. She loves getting lost in poetry—finding meaning in small lines and even smaller moments—and brings that same thoughtfulness and curiosity into her work.
